Green capsicum - 2

Onions - 1

Red chillies - 5

Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoon

Jeera - 1 tablespoon

Hing - a pinch

Methods/steps

Making Capsicum chutney

  • Fry capsicum in the oil and keep aside.
  • Now add onions and fry till they turn light pink
  • Now fry red chillies, mustard seeds and jeera. Keep aside.
  • Blend all these ingredients into a fine paste by adding hing and sufficient salt.
  • Delicious capsicum chutney is ready.
  • Serve with idlis or dosa.
