Chocolate Gulab Jamun

Jamun powder mixed with chocolate and milk which is turned into a delicacy named as Chocolate Gulab Jamun. A must eat for everyone since it has its own unique flavor and taste.

Jamun Instant Mix powder - 1 cup

Dairy Milk Chocolate - 1

Milk

Sugar

Water

Methods/steps
1)

  • Mix chocolate with little water and make into a paste.
  • Mix with the jamun mix powder.
  • Add milk according to the instructions given on the packet and make into a fine dough.

Sugar Syrup

  • Take 2 glasses of sugar and mix with 2 glasses of water.
  • Put these on medium flame and keep stirring till the sugar is dissolved.
  • Boil for 5 more minutes and turn off the flame.

Preparing Jamuns

  • Take a small portion of dough and make into a small ball. Make sure that no cracks are formed.
  • Now in a kadai add sufficient oil for deep fry. Heat the oil under medium flame.
  • Once the oil is heated add jamuns and fry till the balls are cooked.
  • Remove from oil and add to the prepared sugar syrup.
  • Dip for 5 minutes and serve in a serving bowl
  • Delicious Chocolate Gulab Jamuns are ready.
Additional Tips

 

  • One can add any type of chocolate to get its flavor.
  • Cool the syrup for 10 - 15 mts before adding jamuns since jamuns might break.
