Delicious tamarind curry made with Eggs and Shrimp/Prawns.

Eggs - 4

Shrimp - 500 gms

Onions - 2 finely chopped

Tomatoes - 1 finely chopped

Tamarind - 2 lemon sized balls squeezed into thick juice

Turmeric - 1 teaspoon

Fenugreek seeds - 1 pinch

Chilli powder

Salt

Methods/steps

Boil eggs in a seperate bowl and keep aside.

Take another bowl. Add sufficient oil and fry the chopped onions till they turn golden brown.

Add tomatoes, turmeric and fry the mixture for 5 -10 mts.

Add sufficient chilli powder, salt and mix well. Add shrimp and fry for 10 mts.

Now add the tamarind juice and mix well. Cook under medium flame till the oil oozes out.

Now add the boiled eggs and cook for another 10 mts and Pulusu is ready.

Serve hot with rice.
