Delicious pachadi made with Gongura. Unique combination of chilli and sourness turns out to a mouth watering chutney.

Gongura (Sorrell) leaves - 1 cup

Chillies - 8 - 10 depending on taste

Zeera - few

Onions - 1 chopped into big pieces.

Salt - sufficient

Methods/steps

Making Gongura Pachadi

 

  • In a bowl add gongura leaves and chillies.
  • Add little water and cook till gongura is cooked.
  • Grind them into a fine paste by adding sufficient salt.
  • Take into a bowl. Add onions and mix well.
  • Delicious Gongura pachadi is ready.

 

Additional Tips

This is for instant use only. Can not store for days together. Serve with pongal or upma for a breakfast.
