Green Chilli Chutney

Chutney made with Green chillies. Can be served with rice or Idlis.

Chillies - 6

Tamarind - 2 lemon sized balls

Onions - 1 finely chopped

Tomatoes - 1 finely chopped

Salt

For Seasoning

Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon

Urad dal - 2 teaspoons

Zeera - 2 teaspoons

Methods/steps
1)

Add sufficient oil in a kadai.

Add all the ingredients listed for seasoning.

Add chopped onion and fry till they turn golden brown.

Add chopped tomatoes to the onions and fry till tomatoes are cooked properly.

3)

Blend chillies, tamarind and salt into a coarse paste. Do not make fine paste.

4)

Mix the prepared paste with fried onions and tomatoes.

Hot and Delicious Green chilli chutney is ready.
