Delicious and hand snack made with left over idli batter.

Idli batter - 1 cup

Rice flour - 1 cup

Maida - 1/2 cup

Curd - 1 cup

Onions - 1 finely chopped

Chillies - 3 finely chopped into small pieces

Coriander - spoon of nicely chopped

Salt

Oil

Methods/steps

Making Idli Punugulu

  • Mix all the ingredients except oil mentioned above into a thick batter.
  • Make sure it is not too thick or too loose.
  • In a kadai add sufficient oil for deep fry.
  • Now make small balls and add to the oil. Once done place on a plate.
  • Serve delicious idli punugulu hot with peanut chutney.
