Potatoes - 2

Onions - 1/2 finely chopped

Green Chillies - 3

Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoon

Chana dal - 1 teaspoon

Garlic - 5-6 cloves

Zeera - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/4th teaspoon

Oil

Methods/steps

Boil Potatoes and peel the skin off. Mash potatoes into a fine paste.

In a seperate bowl add 3-4 tablespoons of oil. Splutter mustard seeds. Add chana dal and garlic and let them fry. No add zeera.

Slit green chillies into two halves. Add chillies and onions and let them fry.

Add the mashed potato and turmeric and mix well.

Mashed potato fry is ready... One can serve with Palak Rice or Chapathis.
