Festival sweet made with fried Besan. Mixed thoroughly with sugar syrup and ghee.

Besan - 1 cup

Sugar - 2 cups

Ghee - 1 cup

Water - 1 cup

Methods/steps

Fry besan in a pan till it changes color and keep aside.

Mix sugar with water and bring to boil. Make sure the syrup is not too thick or loose in consistency.

Heat the ghee on other stove.

Take 1 spoon of the ghee and mix with the syrup.

Now add the fried besan and keep mixing well.

Once the mixture starts thickening add remaining ghee and mix well for another plate.

Pour this whole mixture evenly on a greased plate.

Cut into pieces and tasty Mysore Pak is ready.
