Stuffed Gulab Jamuns
Description
Sweet made by mixing wheat flour with dessicated milk. Made small balls and deep fried in oil and dipped in hot sugar syrup.
For Stuffing
Pistachios - 1 tablespoon
Cashews - 1 tablespoon
Badam - 1 tablespoon
Kishmish - 1 tablespoon
Saok all the above ingredients in water for 1 hour and make into fine paste.
To prepare Hot Sugar Syrup
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 2 cups
Mix sugar and water and bring the syrup to boil for 10 mts. Simmer for 2 mts and keep hot.
How to make Jamuns
Knead the Gulab Jamun powder with milk into a fine dough. Make sure there are no cracks.
Make small balls and keep aside.
Stuff the dry fruit paste made above into the jamun balls as shown.
Once stuffed make into balls again and keep aside.
Take a bowl and add sufficient oil for deep fry.
Heat the oil and fry the jamun balls under medium flame.
Once removed from the oil dip in the hot syrup for 30 mts.
Tasty tasty stuffed Gulab Jamuns are ready.
